CSED - The Lower Ninth Center for Sustainable Engagement & Development
About our Partnership
With the funding associated with the CEDR fellowship The Lower Ninth Center for Sustainable Engagement and Development is working with CEDR to distribute recycled glass sandbags, tarps and informational materials to households in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans, Louisiana. This organization will distribute these disaster resilience tools as well as provide demonstrations of how to use these supplies effectively.
The project, led by Christina Lehew, became a collaborative effort shared between several organizations including CORE, Louisiana Just Recovery Network, GNOICC, Emergency Legal Responders, and TEP Center for Change.
