Grace at the Green Light
About our Partnership
Grace at the Green Light and CEDR are working together to provide food, water, hygiene items, clothing, basic case management, and resource information to the unhoused population daily–though specifically during natural disasters. Providing these resources to the unhoused during natural disasters is critical and life saving as many other local organizations reduce services during natural disaster events. We are also installing a water fountain in the Bywater neighborhood for the unhoused and greater community to have 24/7 access to clean drinking water.
Learn More About This Organization
Grace at the Green Light was founded in 2014 with the mission of offering New Orleans unhoused population choices while providing for their basic needs (water, food, clothing, and community) in a loving manner that embraces the human spirit. Since 2014, we’ve provided over 260,000 meals, distributed over a million bottles of water, distributed over 8,000 clothing items, and reunited over 2,900 individuals with their loved ones through our Going Home program.
