About our Partnership

lowernine.org and CEDR are working together in partnership with the Lower Ninth Ward Economic Development District to engage one hundred volunteers in repairing fifteen Hurricane Ida-damaged homes for elderly residents of the Lower Ninth Ward. We are also working with staff and interns in the development of a homeowner education series that supports successful home ownership, maintenance, financial management, and disaster resilience.
