Pointe-au-Chien Indian Tribe

About our Partnership

The project I chose to apply for through CEDR was to buy storage to place items and materials needed after a storm. After Hurricane Ida came through our community, many wonderful people came down to Pointe-au-Chien to bring items we needed. Although the supplies were distributed quickly, some piled up because we gave to people as neee. We also have items such as generators, air conditions, etc. that took up a lot of space. It was very difficult because our building filled up quickly. These sheds will be used to store these items.
